Their work breaks away from all the overpriced bibs and statement jewelery you drool over online. I'd like to one day (soon) try making something similar.

Artist in Focus: Steven Klein

"There is a desire to link photography with painting. My background is painting and I feel there is no connection between the two. It is as if the camera is linked to a sin, producing a bastard art form that we feel we must link to the past in order to give it credentials. I don't want those credentials. I have no need to apologise for photography. My archives exist only for sound business reasons; otherwise my work would be disposable. Winter Windows

Today was such a gorgeous day, the weather was beautiful and crisp. The fresh breeze and the warmth motivated me to get out of the house and do something for a change.

Days get boring when uni, work and assignments take over. I guess we need to remind ourselves there are other things out there that needs to be appreciated... and ultimately there is really no harm in taking things so slow.

No Pause

The camera has been in good hands... except mine. Thing is I am so scared I will scratch it, break it or drop it- I am too afraid to use it. Now that I finally have this amazing camera I really don't know what to do with it. How can I take a better photo? Should it go through photoshop before hitting my blog.

Anywho... last night we were out driving along the city and dropped by an exquisite chocolate cafe. They are known for their spanish churos and gourmet chocolate. It was soooooo good! It instantly made me feel so much better. 'Tis true chocolate does heals your soul.

Another magazine did an editorial on her... the clothes, the sculpture, her magnificent captivity in every frame is starking and beautiful.

And I did receive resourceful birthday presents. One of the gifts being the Canon 450D I can't wait to experiment!
